At the Riga international film festival September 10, showed the film “Process”, which talks about the trial of Ukrainian political prisoners Oleg Sentsov, held in Russia. It is reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia in Twitter.

The documentary film “the Process” about the Director Oleg Sentsov was directed by Askold Kurov. April 6 tape was released in Ukrainian rental.

Third Riga international film festival (Riga IFF) opened September 7 and runs until September 17. It presents nine film programs will be shown 120 movies. There will also be three competitions: feature film in the Baltic region short film SHORT RIGA and Baltic music video.

Earlier it was reported that Oleg Sentsov together with Aleksandr Kolchenko was detained by representatives of the Russian special services in Crimea in may 2014 on charges of organizing attacks on the Peninsula. In August 2015 the North Caucasus district military court in Rostov-on-don has sentenced Oleg Sentsov to 20 years in a penal colony on charges of terrorist activities on the territory of Crimea. Kolchenko received 10 years in prison. Both pleaded not guilty. The human rights center “memorial” made of Sentsov and Kolchenko to the list of political prisoners.
