Ovsyannikov has consolidated its position in Sevastopol

Acting Governor of Sevastopol Dmitry Ovsyannikov gaining 69.8 per cent of the vote after processing 3.8 percent of ballots on elections of the Governor of the city, said RIA Novosti.

Dmitry Ovsyannikov — 1761 voice, 69.8 per cent; Roman Kiyashko — 430 votes 17.04%; Ilya Zhuravlev — 229 votes, 9.08 percent; Ivan Ermakov — 35 votes, 1.39 percent; Nicholas Kryazhev — 10 votes, 0.4 percent, — said the CEC.

Elections of the Governor of Sevastopol by the direct vote of the citizens were held September 10 in a single day of voting.

For the position of head of Executive power of Sevastopol in the elections fought five registered candidates: Ivan Ermakov from “Patriots of Russia”, Ilya Zhuravlev from the liberal democratic party, Roman Kiyashko from the Communist party, Nikolai Kryazhev from the Communist party of social justice (CPSU) and acting Governor of Sevastopol Dmitry Ovsyannikov, nominated by the regional branch of “United Russia”.
