A new generation of flagship Samsung has relied on its own smart assistant Bixby and even made a separate quick launch button on the Galaxy S8/S8+ (and Galaxy Note 8). Still a full-fledged voice control only worked in two markets, and now this opportunity has become available in more than 200 countries. That’s only the assistant speaks only two languages — English and Korean.

Users around the world have started to announce the addition of speech Bixby statements before the Samsung. The company promises to expand the number of languages supported, but it is a long process. The developers took a few months to prepare the assistant to release the US, and even after all the tests Bixby often do not understand the most simple commands. For learning the systems need large amounts of data that are not available from the Korean giant. Perhaps the global launch will help to solve this problem.
What made Bixby

Last year, Samsung bought a startup Viv Labs, founded by the creators of Siri and involved in the development of their voice assistant code-named Viv. It was expected that it will become the basis for Bixby, but the sources of The Wall Street Journal reported that the manufacturer used an updated version of the original assistant S Voice. Bixby integrated with standard applications (also available tools for third-party developers), but while the service looks unfinished.
