Qatar accused Saudi Arabia of ignoring safety measures of pilgrims

Dubai. July 31. INTERFAX – the Authorities of Qatar accused Saudi Arabia that the Kingdom is endangering pilgrims who will go this year to Hajj in Mecca, said on Monday the Western media.

Previously, the Agency of civil aviation of Saudi Arabia stated that the pilgrims from Qatar will arrive in the Kingdom on Hajj only through two airports in Jeddah and Medina.

Qatari Ministry of Islamic Affairs stated that “the Saudi side refused to make contact to discuss the safety of pilgrims and Hajj”.

Hajj this year falls in the period from 30 August to 4 September.

5 June Saudi Arabia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain severed diplomatic relations with Qatar, declaring him a blockade and accusing the Qatari leadership in supporting and financing terrorist groups and interference in the internal Affairs of other countries.
