Putin discussed with the clergy on the issue of rehabilitation of drug addicts

Moscow. July 14. INTERFAX – Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Thursday island Konevets on lake Ladoga, where there are works on restoration of the Konevsky Christmas-mother of God monastery, reported the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.

During your stay on the Konevets Vladimir Putin met with representatives of the Vyborg diocese. It was, in particular, on the work of the centre for rehabilitation of drug addicts. Earlier, this centre was established close coordination with the now abolished Federal drug control service.

“The clergy appealed to the President with the request to assist in establishing the same interaction of the center with office after its reorganization,” said the spokesman.

According to him, Vladimir Putin discussed by telephone the matter with the Minister of internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev and gave necessary instructions.
