The iFixit team had the opportunity to look at the version of the device with OCTA-core chipset Exynos 8890. They landed on the table the original Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was intended for the American market and was equipped with a Quad-core Snapdragon 820. This may explain some differences in the design of the antenna and the receive coil wireless charging. All components remained in their places, but, as expected, the manufacturer has installed the smaller battery capacity:

New battery 4200 mAh instead of 4500 mAh was 2.3 grams lighter with a total weight of 45.4 grams. Dimensions virtually unchanged — 37.4×97.2×5.0 mm in comparison to the 37.9×97.8×4.9 mm in Note 7. In iFixit added that the size of the battery in two different Galaxy Note Fan Edition can also be different. In any case, now all batteries are 8-level check to eliminate the possibility of ignition.

Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition got all the same 4 points out of 10 on a scale of maintainability, as the Korean giant is still using a large amount of glue, and the glass front will have to change together with display to separate it without damaging the curved AMOLED panel is almost impossible.
