“Unprecedented hospitality”: in Japan, discuss how Putin brought up Maury

TOKYO, 10 Aug — RIA Novosti, Yekaterina Plyasunova. NHK television station, lighting a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and former Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori in Yekaterinburg in the international exhibition “Innoprom-2017”, noted the fact that the Russian leader brought up the guest to the hotel in the presidential car.

Journalists called Putin’s actions “an unprecedented manifestation of hospitality”.

After an informal dinner at the House of receptions of the Governor of Putin and Mori set off together to the hotel, where he stopped the former Prime Minister. In the lobby they were met by members of the Japanese delegation, as well as the politician’s daughter, Yoko Fujimoto.

As a country-partner of the event, Japan presented 160 companies in the hope of the development of economic relations with Russia. In Tokyo believe that the intensification of these relations will lead to the settlement of the territorial problems between the two countries and the signing of a peace Treaty.

Japan claims the southern Kurile Islands of Iturup, Kunashir, Shikotan and Habomai, referring to bilateral Treatise on trade and borders of 1855. The return of these territories of Tokyo made it a condition of concluding a peace Treaty with Russia, which was not signed after the Second world war.

The position of Moscow consists that Southern Kuriles became part of the Soviet Union at the end of the Second world war and the Russian sovereignty over them cannot be questioned.
