Team Aerospace laboratory of the Moscow technological Institute (MTI) in cooperation with the company “Altmedia” presented the project of drone-saver that delivers a defibrillator by air, and allows you to conduct CPR until the ambulance arrived.
How it works

If a person had a heart attack, every minute counts. Managed by the operator of the drone will soon fly to the nearest ambulance station or emergency situations. The defibrillator works both in manual and automatic mode. Aid should be disposable electrodes on the patient and perform voice and visual guidance. The device analyzes ECG, saves the data to the physician and, if necessary, produce a series of electrical discharges in accordance with international recommendations for cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

A quadcopter with a capacity of 3 kg and can also deliver medicines and biomaterials in an emergency. The design provides the camera with Handsfree for consultation with the doctor. The drone covers the distance up to 50 kilometers.

The development will be demonstrirovalsya at the exhibition Innoprom, which will be held from 10 to 13 July in Ekaterinburg.
Do ambulance

Swedish colleagues of Russian scientists have recently presented a similar project drone defibrillator. During the first tests they found that the apparatus arrives on location average for 16 minutes before the ambulance. Engineers at the Karolinska Institute used wasmerely copter to reach speeds up to 75 miles per hour.
