Source: Lebanon under fire in Syrian refugee camp killed two

BEIRUT, 2 Jun — RIA Novosti. At least two people were killed in a major fire in the camp of Syrian refugees Sunday in Eastern Lebanon, told RIA Novosti source in the ambulance.

As previously reported, the national Agency Lebanon NNA, the fire started in the camp near the village of KAB-Elias in the East.

“The civil defense brigade managed to extinguish the fire in part,” the source said.

According to him, the fire place was discovered two bodies, a few people were injured, they received medical assistance. The source noted that the number of dead and injured could rise.

An eyewitness at the scene told RIA Novosti that the fire was large, dozens of families fled their homes when the area of the fire began to grow. According to him, the propagation of fire began to explode gas cylinders that only made the situation worse.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but in Lebanon the last time, there is extremely hot weather. Average temperatures reach 40 degrees Celsius, which has already led to fires in several parts of the country.
