The head of the Russian Church abroad will make a pilgrimage to the Holy sites of Russia

New York. June 30. INTERFAX – the Delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church abroad headed by its first Hierarch, Metropolitan Hilarion will make a 8-25 July, the pilgrimage to the Holy places of Russia.

The trip will mark the centenary of the revolution and the tenth anniversary of the reunification of the Moscow Patriarchate with the Church abroad, the press service of the ROCA.

The believers will visit dozens of Holy sites in different regions of Russia.

They, in particular, worship the shrines of Moscow, Murom, Pereyaslavl-Zalessky, Ryazan, Crimea, will visit the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, Optina and Vyshenskaya desert.
