UK independence Party advocates for the establishment of relations with Russia

LONDON, June 30 – RIA Novosti, Maria Tobacco. UK independence Party (UKIP) is in favour of building a deep and mutually beneficial relations with Russia, said in an interview with RIA Novosti a member of UKIP and a potential contender for the post of party leader Elizabeth Jones.

“British-Russian relations are now clouded by the fact that the UK is a magnet for many of the oligarchs, and the fact that the UK is in NATO. The first problem can be solved by using the proceeds of crime act, however, it is unlikely that in the foreseeable future we will leave NATO. Moreover, there are sensitive issues in relations with Russia, due to the fact that it is regarded as a country of one party, does not tolerate criticism,” said Jones.

“The UKIP plan is to reduce friction and build a deep relationship between our two great and brave Nations”, — said the representative of the Party of independence.

“We need Russia to support Brexit. Russia needs the UK, so we can trade on mutually beneficial terms. Joint business projects and large civil engineering projects – a great way to bring peace and love to our countries”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

“It seems that Russia is very much needed infrastructure, and the UK would like to help. A bilateral trade agreement is a good way to start, as soon as we leave the EU. Let’s discuss fishing, let’s say goodbye with trade sanctions by the EU. Let’s give Moscow a hand of friendship!” — she concluded.
