Comedies that make you laugh – and squirm

In the midst of some very dark and serious picture in competition at Cannes, the comedy can provide some light relief. But, while Noah Baumbach, The Meyerowitz Stories is a simpler way of example, referring back to the earlier Woody Allen films, the Swedish director Ruben Östlund, The Square is a pitch black satire, designed to make the audience feel as awkward as the characters on the screen.
