Moscow. May 17. INTERFAX – Issues related to protection of religious feelings, should be governed by moral levers rather than legal mechanisms, said the Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova.

“Today there is a replacement of the moral laws. And somewhere enough moral influence, conversations, simply words from people who have authority, not legislative action. I think there is a need to include moral leverage than legal mechanisms,” said T. Moskalkova reporters on Wednesday.

She stressed that “the use of secular administrative law raises here, the opposites”. “Such an act cannot be described as a public threat,” said human rights activist.

However, she stressed that the respected journalist Vladimir Pozner, spoke on this issue. “I was on his gear and admire and respect his talent as a journalist and a politician”, – said T. Moskalkova.

“I would like to get an exhaustive explanation: confessing this look, I’m violating the criminal code? Maybe the Patriarch will tell you, if I insult his religious feelings, arguing that there is no God? Maybe the President of the constitutional court will tell me if I have the right to think what I think and Express what I Express? Maybe the President will bring clarity, not expecting me in court and, God willing, excuse the pun, a lenient sentence?” – ask questions Vladimir Pozner.

However, he expressed concern that the placement of this message can threaten him with court or the period.
