Saint-Petersburg. May 17. INTERFAX – St. Petersburg Authorities expect up to June 1 decide to nominate a Director of the GMF St Isaac’s Cathedral in connection with the resignation of Nikolai Burov, the head of the Committee for culture of the city Konstantin Sukhenko.
“The candidates presented, this four Deputy Burov and a decision will be made. I do not exclude that in the first stage will be appointed as the acting, not the Director”, – said K. Sukhenko reporters on Wednesday.
Answering the question about possible unification of the GMF St Isaac’s Cathedral with the Museum of history of St. Petersburg, the official stressed that the culture Committee in this matter is not involved.
