Krasnodar. May 12. INTERFAX – a Court on Friday sentenced a resident of the Krasnodar territory Alexander Kurenkova, finding him guilty of organizing an illegal religious Association, and sexual abuse of an underage girl, reported “Interfax” the press service of the regional Prosecutor’s office.
“Kurenkov based in the village Location of Krasnoarmeysky district religious Association according to the type of totalitarian sects. The court found that the activities of this cult was associated with violence, including sexual,” said the Prosecutor.
Krasnoarmeyskiy district court found the leader of the sect guilty of creating a non-profit organization encroaching on the personality and rights of citizens (part 1 of article 239 of the criminal code of Russian Federation) and violent acts of a sexual nature against a person under 14 years of age (“paragraph “b”, part 4 of article 132 of the criminal code).
