In Kiev detained ransomware, “demanding” for Lutsenko $1.3 million

KIEV, may 11 — RIA Novosti. The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said that the law enforcers detained in Kiev a group of persons, who demanded from the businessman $ 1.3 million, allegedly destined for the Lutsenko.

“The military Prosecutor’s office in conjunction with the Criminal investigation Department of national police of Kiev detained a group of three people who were engaged in extortion (money — ed.) from a businessman. Cimus case that two lawyers and one defendant under article for a premeditated murder of a citizen demanded from the business owner $ 1.3 million for the transfer of personally Prosecutor General of Ukraine. Otherwise threatened everyone — from the “impact” in the business to physical violence”, — Lutsenko wrote on his page in Facebook.

He also noted that the extortion reported by the entrepreneur himself. “Thank you to the owner for the trust. It was his message was the beginning of the end of this criminal group,” — said the Prosecutor General.
