Russian artist locked himself naked in a transparent box at the Museum in new York

MOSCOW, may 3 — RIA Novosti. The new York city police have arrested a man who locked herself naked in a transparent box in front of the Metropolitan Museum, which hosted the charity event, reports the New York Daily.

41-year-old Fyodor Pavlov-Andreevich was taken to the Museum two of his assistants and placed the box on the red carpet, which was a part of celebrities invited to the annual event to raise funds for the Institute of Museum costumes. Law enforcement officers demanded that the men step out of the box, but he refused, and then police and firemen arrived on the scene were forced to use force. They pulled it from the box, wrapped in white cloth and taken away from the scene.

The publication reports that Pavlov-Andreevich was charged with disturbing public order, illegal crossing of the cordoned area and resisting police. It became known later that the man was released from prison, but he is still a trial.

According to the newspaper, Pavlov-Andreevich at least five times made such scandalous installations, most recently last year in Sao Paulo.
