Pensions in Ukraine will change from may 1: payout to 8.2 million pensioners will increase due to the increase of the subsistence minimum

Approximately 8.2 million pensioners in Ukraine will receive a higher pension after the recalculation of the subsistence minimum for disabled persons.

Monday,may 1, in Ukraine increased the minimum subsistence level for disabled persons to 1312 UAH were made recalculation of pensions.This informs the Pension Fund.

“From may 1 this year in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On State budget of Ukraine for 2017” upgraded living wage for the persons which have lost working capacity, up to 1312 hryvnia. In connection with changes in cost of living result in a recalculation of pensions.

It is reported that the increased sizes of the following payments: the minimum size of pensions and additional charge for excess length of service, minimum pension payments, state social assistance for care of disabled veterans, enhancing the veterans and their families, raising the victims of Nazi persecution, pensions for special merits before Ukraine, the allowance to donors.

“Improving as a result of the recalculation has received more than 8.2 million seniors. The size increase for each individual,” explained pensionnom Fund.
