The IMF wants Ukraine to increase taxes for entrepreneurs

The international monetary Fund urged Ukraine to increase tax rates for entrepreneurs uproschentsev and eliminate the possibility of tax evasion.

In addition to increasing rates for entrepreneurs uproschentsev,
The IMF want to strengthen the registration criteria for simplified system. These
actions will help to minimize the possibility of tax evasion. Also,
the Fund noted the importance of further reforming the State fiscal
service.

“Efforts
should be aimed at tightening overly generous simplified tax
regime and improvement in tax administration. The effective rate under the simplified
regime for small taxpayers must be significantly increased. Also
needs to be tightened the registration criteria for simplified system”, – reported in the IMF Memorandum.

In turn, the Ukrainian government has promised
to refrain from significant reduction of taxes, and from 1 January 2018 Cabinet
Ministers will raise requirements to the model of simplified taxation.

Earlier,the Board of Directors of the International monetary Fund has allocated Ukrainesergey tranche in the amount of $ 1 billion, but it raised a number of requirements.
