Canada will open for Ukrainian exporters 98% of its market products: Poroshenko signed the Agreement on free trade zone with Canada

Today, April 3, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law of Ukraine “On ratification of the Agreement on free trade between Ukraine and Canada,” which was previously adopted by the Parliament.

It is expected that the agreement should increase trade
between the two countries and will facilitate the inflow of foreign investment in

“Since the entry into force of the Agreement Canada will open
for Ukrainian exporters 98% of their market goods that are subject
bilateral trade”, – stated in the message.

This will apply the principle of asymmetric tariff
obligations, as in Ukraine, Canada and different level of economic and
social development.

The agreement will enter into force on the first day of the second month after
obtain Canada. Note
the document was signed with the Prime Minister of Canada in July 2016.
