2017 Lotus Elise running with the new lightweight Sprint edition

In 2017 the Lotus Elise was launched new lightweight Sprint release 41 kg lighter than the old car.

On sale next month at a price of € 32,300, Sprint uses more carbon fiber to trim weight 798kg, and in his most powerful Sprint 220 supercharged 1.8-litre form can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds, with its 217bhp.

Regular block 134bhp 1.6-litre Sprint are controlled by the same dash in 5.9 seconds.

In 2017 Elise gets a new design front and rear bumpers, new taillights and an upgraded interior with Alcantara and contrast stitching, as well as open gate gear lever.

A new centre console, first seen on others, and a new dashboard was added, with Bluetooth optionable connection.

Above the ordinary models Alice sits Eliz 250 Cup, which will land in may, priced from £47,400 even harder to focus on performance. The car is 23kg lighter than its predecessor, but lighter options included in this number is increased to 40kg. The performance will be released on the eve of launch of the model.
