“In retaliation for tomatoes” Turkey has deprived Russia the right to duty-free supplies of grain

Official Ankara has suspended preferential imports of cereals from the Russian Federation.

According to the General
Director of the Institute for agricultural market Dmitry Rylko, in a real

from March 15 suspended the issuance of licenses for duty-free supplies of wheat,
corn and sunflower meal from a number of countries, but primarily, this concerns
key supplier – Russia”, – said Rylko.

Rylko.

According to the Director
center “Sovekon” Andrei Sizov, the purchase of Russian grain Turkey

analysts, such action is one of the largest buyers of Russian grain negative

Experts
I believe that the decision of the Turkish, possibly due to the fact that Russia
retains a ban on the import of Turkish tomatoes and other vegetables, which was introduced in
2015, after the famous incident between Ankara and Moscow.
