Turkey supports Ukraine: Ankara imposed a ban on visits to the Crimea for Turkish vessels

According to the Prime Minister of Turkey, Binali Yildirim, Ankara supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine and strongly condemns the illegal seizure of Crimea.

Prime Minister
Of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman reported that Turkey banned its ships
to visit Russia annexed the Ukrainian Peninsula, reports “Dialog.

“Today
the day of the visit we received a note prohibiting any Turkish vessels to visit the occupied
Crimea. This is a very strong signal,” – said Ukrainian Prime Minister during
his official visit to Turkey.

this Groysman stressed the role of Ankara in the issue of support for the Crimean
Tatars.

“Your
position in relation to the Crimean Tatars is very important to us and your
the desire to maintain in such difficult conditions is testimony to the superior
the degree of friendliness between our countries”, – said the head of the Ukrainian government.

Turkey supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine and does not recognize the illegal
“annexation” of Crimea by Russia.
