Heat signature will help the remote hackers to bypass pin codes on smartphones

Scientists from Stuttgart and Munich University published the results of studies which found that after the user enters a pin on the smartphone display, the heat signatures from the fingers remain on the screen until 45 seconds. With a thermal imager these traces can be seen, to recognize and enter into the phone. And if an attacker will scan the display device 15 seconds after pin entry, the chance of recognition is 90%.
