In the Russian Museum will present 3D models of masterpieces from Italy, Vatican and Russia

Moscow. March 2. INTERFAX – Multimedia exhibition “Byzantium in the third dimension: the Vatican, Italy and Russia” will be held March 4-23 at the State Russian Museum.

For the first time will present 25 masterworks of the countries from the Basilica of San Marco in Venice to St. Sophia Cathedral in Veliky Novgorod in the form of 3D models, the press service of the Museum.

They will be shown on special screens.

In particular, specifically for this project made a 3D model of the exhibit from the Russian Museum collection “Cross engolpion. The front fold. The Crucifixion Of Christ. The Virgin Orans. XII – first half XIII century.”
