Declaring the world “evil”, trump promised safe zone for Syrians

The Kremlin urged the US to calculate the possible implications for the organization of such zones

The US President Donald trump said Wednesday night that he “definitely will create a security zone in Syria” for refugees who are fleeing from violence in the war-torn country. He also noted that the world was “evil” and turned into “complete chaos”.

In an interview with ABC News, trump said that Europe made a huge mistake, taking to themselves the millions of refugees from Syria and other “hot spots” in the middle East. “I don’t want that to happen here,” he said.

“I will definitely create a security zone for the people in Syria,” he added, without going into details.

According to the document, which the news Agency Reuters got access on Wednesday, trump is expected in the coming days will give the order to the Pentagon and the state Department to develop a plan to create “security zones” that may lead to the escalation of US military intervention in the civil war in Syria.

The draft decree awaiting signature of the trump, encourages the establishment of such security zones “in Syria and the surrounding region.”

At the same time, the document does not contain details of what will be a security zone where they can be created, and who will protect them.

In response to the statement trump the Kremlin urged the US to calculate the probable consequences of the organization of security zones for the refugees in Syria, in order not to worsen the situation.

“It is important that it is not aggravated the situation of refugees, said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov. We would like to calculate all possible consequences.”

On the question, whether the United States consulted with Russia before to declare the decision, Peskov replied in the negative. “With the Russian side, the American partners were not consulted,” he said.

In an interview with trump tied the refugees arriving in the United States and Europe, with the threat of terrorism.

“The FBI is now conducting more investigations against people suspected of links with terrorism than it has ever been, he said. And it is among the people who come here. In our country there are lots of problems, believe me. I know what are these issues better than you. This is a profound problem, a huge problem. And new we don’t have to.”

The President announced that his administration will conduct thorough checks of people applying for refugee status in the United States.

“Very thorough,’ he said, without going into details. We will not let people into the country if there is even a small chance of some kind of trouble”.

Trump also took issue with the fact that his policies may lead to increased tension between the United States and the Muslim world.

“The world is such that meaner is not the case, he said. I think because of this evil will be a little more? The world has become evil. We went into Iraq, although we didn’t need to go into Iraq. There was no need to come out the way we came. The world has turned into complete chaos.”

The President repeated earlier statements that the US should maintain control of Iraqi oil at the exit from the country after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein.

“We needed to keep the oil when we left, he said. And you know what, this is very interesting, but if we left control of oil, ISIS would not exist, because they live by this oil. From her they get the money.”

The President expressed his undisguised frustration with U.S. intervention in the middle East.

“As of a month ago, we spent 6 trillion dollars in the middle East, he said to ABC News. And at home we can’t afford to build a school in Brooklyn or a school in Los Angeles”.

Trump also said that “absolutely” sure that the use of simulated drowning was an effective method, and that he will consider the possibility of using it as an interrogation, if such recommendation will be made by the Minister of defence James Mattis and the Director of the CIA Mike Pompeo.

“I’ll rely on Pompeo and Mattis and my group, he said. If they don’t want, well and good. If they want, I will work in this direction. I want to do everything that you can do within the law”.
