Two Israelis are suspected of damage to a crucifix in the Ukrainian Uman

Kiev. 3 Jan. INTERFAX – Ukraine Police suspect two teenagers, the citizens of Israel, the corruption of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ in Uman (Cherkasy region).

“The attackers were three men, two of whom were brothers – the citizens of the state of Israel, the identity of the third set,” – said Tuesday the press service of the national police in the Cherkasy region.

The suspect is 16 and 18 years of age, the brothers declared suspicion in Commission of a criminal offense under article “Infringement of equality of citizens depending on their race, national origin, religious belief…”

“The question on election of a preventive measure. The penalty for such action establishes liability in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term up to eight years,” said the police.
