MOSCOW, January 3 — RIA Novosti. The candidate in presidents of France and the leader of the party “national Front” marine Le Pen can close the entrance to Ukraine for her words about the Crimea, said the head of the office of the head of the security Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachuk to the edition “Observer”.
“I do not exclude that Le Pen will be denied entry or will be taken any measures,” —said Tkachuk.
However, he noted that, since Le Pen is a French citizen, the question about measures against it depends not only SBU but also from the Ukrainian foreign Ministry.
In an interview with BFMTV, marine Le Pen declared that considers illegal the reunification of the Peninsula with Russia, and sees no reason to challenge the result of the referendum held in Crimea in March 2014.
On the referendum 96.77% of voters of the Republic of Crimea and 95.6% of residents of Sevastopol voted for joining Russia. The referendum was held after a coup in Ukraine in February 2014. Ukraine considers the Crimea her, but temporarily occupied territory. The Russian authorities claim that the inhabitants of Crimea democratically in full compliance with international law and the UN Charter voted for reunification with Russia. According to President Vladimir Putin, the Crimea issue “is closed permanently.”
