Features

The device is powered by a modified version of Linux under the loud name REdStar (Red star). The tablet supports text files, HTML pages and your own photos. More the gadget does not work with any file type, codecs or extensions.

Woolim only works with a closed Internet and digital TV North Korea, it is also devoid of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. Every time the user launches any application or file, Woolim makes a screenshot and saves it in a special folder that is not removed and blocked from any external intervention.

The contents

In the machine sewn promotional files, books, electronic dictionaries, Chinese, Russian and French languages, and also converted to the Communist way Angry Birds game.
Production and price

Totalitarian tablets Woolim is doing for North Korea, the Chinese company Hoozo. Price of the device in the domestic market is from 170 to 220 dollars. Gadget use only well-off North Koreans, because such a price could only afford them. The internal specifications are unknown, but judging from the grainy display, they are more than budget.
