Officially launched a new stage of cooperation between Ukraine and Canada: Poroshenko has signed the law on ratification of the FTA

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law “On ratification of the Agreement on free trade zone between Ukraine and Canada,” which was concluded between the two States in July 2016.

The press service of the President of Ukraine reported that Petro Poroshenko, postwar his signature to the Law “On ratification of the Agreement on free trade zone between Ukraine and Canada”.

This law ratifies the agreement concluded between Kiev and Ottawa in July 2016.

“The implementation of the provisions of the document will promote the development of bilateral trade-economic cooperation between Ukraine and Canada, will allow domestic producers to benefit from duty-free access to the canadian market, will provide opportunities for Ukrainian business to expand markets, and for the development and modernization of its own production in order to improve competitiveness in new markets”, – reads the text of the document.

It is noted that the introduction of this agreement will lead to the creation of new jobs in Ukraine.

Recall that in early November the Minister of international trade of Canada Chrystia Freeland has officially confirmed that the canadian government filed in Federal parlamentsgebaude for the ratification of the free trade Agreement with Ukraine.
