MOSCOW, 16 Oct — RIA Novosti. Orthodox activists will be held on Wednesday pickets at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in support of the detainees informed the opponents of the construction of the temple in the Park, “TORRANCE”, reported on the promotions page in social network Facebook.
The lawyer of the movement “forty times Forty” Oksana mikhalkina Monday told RIA Novosti that Russia’s Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against the defenders of the Park, “TORRANCE”, opposed to the construction of the temple. According to her, proceedings were instituted under article 148 of the criminal code (violation of the right to freedom of conscience and religion), and possibly under the criminal code of “extremism”. We invite all Christians agree with this to participate in our picket,” — said in the message.
The organizers also warned the protesters that the picket – Christian, so the posters must not contain offensive language.
“Our goal is to be heard, not to show that we fear nothing and nobody,” explained the organizers.
