MOSCOW, 14 Nov – RIA Novosti. The Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation until the end of 2016 will provide for the annual competition funds for the production of 216 of documentary projects, including films about Prokofiev, Chekhov, Levitan and Brodsky, the press service of the Ministry.
“Published the results of the annual competition, according to which the end of the Year of Russian cinema 216 non-fiction projects will receive funds for the production. In the category “Films about culture and art” receive subsidies of 37 paintings, including films about Sergei Prokofiev, Alexander Green, Anton Chekhov, and Isaac Levitan and Joseph Brodsky. The state will receive 27 projects on the “socio-moral issues,” and 63 projects in the category “About the history of the Fatherland”, — is spoken in the message of press-service.
In addition, the financial support of the Ministry will receive 15 paintings “on the promotion of scientific and inventive activities”, 10 films ethnographic subjects, 9 popular science films, 8 projects on nature and ecology, 7, “on interethnic relations and problems of tolerance in society,” 6 films “about medicine and the health of the nation” and “on counteraction to extremism, terrorism and crime”.
Five films that will receive the support of the Ministry of sports, four were on religious themes, three educational film for children and teenagers, two documentaries about the struggle with alcoholism and drug addiction. Also, the Ministry of culture will Finance 14 debut films.
