In Kursk have cut down the memorial cross at the burial of the victims of mass repressions

In the Park the Bag in Kursk, where the burial of victims of mass repressions, in the night of 5 November, unknown persons cut down the memorial cross and desecrated the monument to the priest, reports “Interfax” with reference to UMVD on Kursk area.

Kursk diocese, citing data from the archive of the UFSB for the region reports that in the 1930-ies in the tract Bag was buried about 1,5 thousand victims of political repressions, including priests, religious and laity of the Russian Church.

At the end of August 2016 unknown-cut the four-meter wooden cross on the mountain Cross in Gubakha, Perm region, established on the initiative of the Cossacks and with the support of a team of local ski centre in June 2011.

In July 2016, a six-meter memorial cross cut down the next day after his installation in the village Tashkermen of the Laishevsky district of Tatarstan, which was set for the feast of saints Peter and Paul by means of a local resident. On this fact the Ministry of interior in Tatarstan opened a criminal case.
