The Indian army on Saturday destroyed four Pakistani border post

MOSCOW, 30 Jul — RIA Novosti. The Indian army on Saturday destroyed at least four Pakistani border post in Keran sector on the line of control and have caused serious losses to the Pakistani forces soon after violating the Pakistani side of the cease-fire in Jammu and Kashmir, reports channel NDTV.

As stated by the TV channel sources, the loss of the Pakistani side can be up to 20 people.

According to the channel, the Indian army retaliated after Pakistani military has repeatedly violated truce in the sectors of katwa (Kathua) and RS Pura (RS Pura) at the border. One Indian border guard was killed in a shooting by the Pakistani forces in sector Machili (Machil).

Relations between the two countries strained after the incident on the line of control in Kashmir on the night of 29 September. Then India announced that it has conducted a “counter-terrorist operation”, causing “surgical strikes” on terrorist bases in Pakistan-controlled territory. Pakistan stated that it was just a border skirmish, and that two Pakistani soldiers were killed. The incident occurred a week after militants attacked the Indian military unit in Kashmir, which killed 19 soldiers.

Skirmishes and exchanges of artillery strikes occur regularly on the Indian-Pakistani border, however, amid the deterioration of relations, the number of ceasefire violations has increased markedly. Messages about incidents on the border do almost every day.
