ANOSINO (Moscow region), October 28 — RIA Novosti/Prime. A huge amount, 20 billion things in the world in 2020 will be connected to the Internet, and this means an inevitable invasion of the personal data of people, says the head of Sberbank German Gref.
“We are talking about the fact that in 2020, 20 billion things will be connected to the Internet, and each of them will each second to generate the data. And, of course, this means that we will live in a brand new world. Question — how will we live in this world in the absolute transparency that is not yet ready”, — said Gref, speaking at the corporate University of the Bank.
“We say — state companies invading our personal life, we create laws on personal data protection, but we see that it’s yesterday. Impossible to stop the invasion of personal information, it will inevitably happen, the world will be radically open. With this is to fight or to live, this question,” he added.
The main problem in the next five years to face, the company is searching for prospective employees, it is therefore necessary to rethink the concept of employment in the Russian Federation which must consider the risks of unemployment due to the development of new technologies, also noted Gref.
“Need reasoning to come to action, we need to realize what awaits us, how we will act. The key problem, besides education, is in the attraction of an increasing number of modern things such as artificial intelligence. A huge number of new technologies leads to a huge release of people, and today we do not see the answer to the question, what do we do with these people. We with this problem will face in the coming years,” predicted Gref.
“In my opinion, we need to radically rethink the concept of employment and training of people to this new world, more open world, more productive world. People will do the most creative, the most high-performance work and they will have, of course, to earn money for their work, absolutely other money” — said the head of Sberbank.
