XI Jinping congratulated the mission “Shenzhou-11” with the successful launch

BEIJING, 17 Dec RIA Novosti, Zhanna Manukyan. Chinese President XI Jinping, who is currently on official visits abroad, congratulated all the participants of the mission with the successful launch of manned spacecraft “Shenzhou-11” (“Holy hook-11”).

On Monday at 7.30 (2.30 GMT), China has carried out from the cosmodrome “Jiuquan” in the Gobi desert launch its manned spacecraft “Shenzhou-11” (“Holy hook-11”) with two crew members on Board. The launch was carried out with the help of the carrier rocket “Changzheng-2F” (“long March-2F”). The live broadcast of the launch led China Central television (CCTV).Later the mission control Center acknowledged the launch is successful.

“After learning about the successful launch of the spacecraft, “Shenzhou -11″, I would like to sincerely congratulate all the participants of this mission and astronauts on the successful work”, said XI Jinping in a congratulatory telegram which was read at MCC Deputy Chairman of the Central military Commission fan Changlong.

The Chinese President noted that the 30-day mission, a record in China’s history, represents “a new and important progress in the manned space program of China”.

“I hope everything will continue in the same spirit, and fulfill all the tasks, to speed up the process of space exploration of China and to create a powerful space power,” said XI Jinping.
