Against the airlines “Aeroflot” and the Red Wings Rospotrebnadzor Nizhny Novgorod region initiated proceedings on administrative offences for failure to provide hot meals to passengers during flight delays, according to the official website of the Department. The total amount of fines, according to the report, amounted to 40 thousand.
The Agency brought proceedings against air carriers under part 1 of article 14.4 of the administrative code of Ukraine (sale of goods, performance of works or rendering to the population of services of inadequate quality or with infringement of requirements set by legislation).
According to the Ministry, last year the aircraft company “Aeroflot” carrying out flight on a route Zurich — Moscow made an unscheduled landing at Nizhny Novgorod airport because of adverse weather conditions. Then the flight delay was more than four hours, but hot meals airline passengers are not provided. In addition, as noted in the message, refreshments awaiting departure was taken “not timely”.
Similar violations of the administration of Rospotrebnadzor also revealed in the actions of the Red Wings in case of delay of departure of the flight Nizhniy Novgorod — Sochi in 2016. Then the time passengers are not provided with hot food.
