The Prosecutor’s office of Montenegro stated that the arrested informed group of people were planning armed attacks and kidnapping of the Prime Minister, Milo Djukanovic. Reported by the Associated Press.
Earlier, on 16 October, in Montenegro, was arrested on 20 Serb suspected of planning armed attacks after the parliamentary elections in the country.
According to the special Prosecutor, the group formed a criminal organization in order to affect legal and Executive authorities in Montenegro. Also, the Prosecutor added that there was a suspicion that a criminal group planned to capture Djukanovic.
The Director of police of Montenegro, Slavko stojanović said that the arrested Serbs planned to attack government institutions, the police, and possibly state officials after the vote.
Sunday, October 16, Montenegro held parliamentary elections. Take part in the elections 3 coalition of 14 parties. Voters must decide to leave in power the leader of the Democratic party of socialists Milo Djukanovic or to give the victory of the opposition in the role of the bloc of the Democratic front.
