WARSAW, 15 Oct — RIA Novosti. The Russian film “Anomie” directed by Vladimir Kozlov received a special award in the category of “Free spirit” XXXII Warsaw film festival, which ended Saturday in the Polish capital.
“The jury chose the film, which bravely approaches the subject intelligently, and plays with the Convention, at the same time bringing important, coming from the depths of the heart of the message is hidden, it would seem, for a simple story… the Film shows that an independent Russian film that is able to speak openly, uncompromisingly and radically the moral corruption still exists”, — stated in the message of organizers of the festival.
Grand Prix Warsaw festival received film of the Iranian Director of Parisa Shahbazi “Malaria”. Best Director was recognized by the Dane Einar Gemunder Gumundsson for the film “Heart of stone”, the best documentary — “the Sacrament” polka Anna Zamecki. The movie “the First pole on Mars” Agnieszka Elbanowska named best short film.
Warsaw film festival is held annually in early October. In 2005, the number of awards given at the festival included a prize of the International Federation of film critics. In 2009, WFF was included in the number of activities accredited by the International Federation of associations of film producers associations as international film festivals, along with Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Moscow, Shanghai and several other. The only Russian film, which won the Grand Prix of the Warsaw film festival during its existence, was “Euphoria” by Ivan Vyrypaev in 2006.
