Samsung has temporarily stopped production of Galaxy Note 7 for export

South Korean company Samsung Electronics has temporarily suspended the export production of smartphones Galaxy Note 7 due to the message about the fire of their batteries. This writes Yonhap, citing an anonymous source.

According to the interlocutor of the Agency, temporarily will not work to the company’s plant in Vietnam, which is directly involved in the production of products developer for export and international shipments.

In early September, Samsung asked the owners of their Galaxy Note 7 with the recommendation as soon as possible to exchange the device. The company said that the devices may overheat during use and explode. The reason was problems with the battery, because inside smartphones has been installed battery is defective.

All Samsung has recalled about 2.5 million of previously sold devices in different countries. Two days after the start of the return campaign developer lost $22 billion.

In early October, sales of the smartphone Galaxy Note 7 was renewed in South Korea. On the first day of sales, October 1, the company sold 16 thousand units. In the future, according to analysts, sales will increase to 20 thousand smartphones per day.

Earlier, the South Korean company also stated that some models of its washing machines can be unsafe because of a bomb threat. This statement was made by Samsung, after some U.S. customers complained that their washing machine blew up.
