Shiveluch volcano on Kamchatka threw two column of ash a day

Erupting in Kamchatka volcano Shiveluch threw a column of ash to a height of 4.5 km above sea level. On it informs Department of EMERCOM of Russia in Kamchatskiy Krai.

Before the volcano threw the ashes on Wednesday evening, October 5. Then the column of ash reached an altitude of 4.4 km above sea level, its plume spread in an easterly direction from the volcano in the Bay of ozernovskiy, previously reported in the MOE.

Shiveluch — the northernmost active volcano of Kamchatka, located 45 km from the village of Keys Ust-Kamchatsky district, where there are about 5 thousand people. The height of Shiveluch — 3283 m, currently assigned “orange” aviation code of the danger.
