Miller spoke about his childhood dream about the reunion of Deep Purple

The head of “Gazprom” Alexei Miller at the St. Petersburg international gas forum admitted that as a teenager he dreamed of the reunion of the rock group Deep Purple. About it reports “Interfax”.

Communicating with young people at the meeting, Miller also said that “a very distant dream was to attend the concert”.

“In 1976 he released the album Deep Purple. My generation of boys grew up on this group. And in 1976 it was announced about its decay. I am in 10th class I dreamed that [Deep Purple] reunited,” said the head of “Gazprom”.

He recalled that the group reunited in 1984. “Recently, they celebrated the anniversary with a concert in Russia, and when I have the opportunity to regularly attend concerts of their favorite band,” said Miller.

He also added that in his youth dreamed of a victory of football club “Zenit” in the championship of the USSR in 1978. “I was a normal child and was rooting for the football club “Zenit”. And then I dreamed that Zenit will be champion. It was a transcendental dream,” said the head of “Gazprom”.

Miller in conversation with young people also admitted that Moscow misses the atmosphere of St. Petersburg, where he spent his childhood and youth.

“I envy you from the heart! You live in this city, every day go to school, breathe this moist delicious air!” he said the St. Petersburg students.
