In Russia decreased the production of cheese

The Ministry has noted negative dynamics in production of cheeses in August 2016. This is stated in the monitoring Department.

In particular, the volume of production fell to 3.5%. Last year, cheese production decreased by 2.1%. Reason for the decline in production can be saturation of the market, said the Ministry.

Also the slowdown is observed in the production of sausages by the end of August.

The head of the Ministry Alexander Tkachev has previously noted that the Russian market is not waiting for a “collapse” in the event of cancellation of bradenburg, which was introduced in response to Western sanctions in 2014.

“The pork we no longer need any import. We have completely closed the gap. Poultry meat — including. Sugar, buckwheat, potatoes, vegetable oil we provided,” — said the Minister.
