The company may be on “graveyard” if not build a horizontal culture in which its management can see the possible change of trend in the market. The head of Sberbank German Gref said in an interview with Vladimir Pozner on the First channel.
“In the cemetery of the fortune 500 companies a small number of corpses. One of them is our neighbor — Nokia” — gave an example of Gref (quoted by “RIA Novosti”). He noted that currently there are “fragments”, due to the fact that its staff did not see a transition from one sphere to another.
“This speaks to the fact that the company was not built horizontal culture, when obviously worked highest qualification of people and some of them have seen it and understood,” — said Gref.
On 8 September the head of Sberbank said about the transition to artificial intelligence in five years. “In five years, we believe that we will be able to take about 80% of all decisions automatically using artificial intelligence,” — said Gref, noting that “tens of thousands of people will lose their job.”
