The investigative Committee of Russia opened a number of criminal cases against the leaders of “Right Sector” for extremism.
This is stated on the Agency’s website.
“On the basis of collected evidence, a criminal case against the leaders of “Right sector” Dmitry Yarosh and Andriy Tarasenko, the leaders of this organization Andrew Stanecki, Valery Voronov, Artem Skoropadsky and others on signs of the crime under part 1 of article 282.2 of the criminal code, that is, the activities of extremist organizations”, – stated in the message.

The Department also reminded that the activities of “Right sector” actively involved citizen of Russia Artem Skoropadsky – the head a press-services.
“To date, we have installed the total number of members of the organization “Right sector”, comprising more than 5 thousand members in the organization are citizens of Ukraine, the Russian Federation and other States. In every region of Ukraine, the organization has structural units, staffs, coordinates the activities of activists on the ground. In addition, the leaders of the organization created a separate cell in Europe and North America”, – stated in the message.
