Nominated for “Oscar” film “Chevalier” will be shown at the festival in Moscow

MOSCOW, 30 Sep – RIA Novosti. The movie “Chevalier”, which was nominated by Greece for the Academy award “Oscar” in the category for best foreign language film, will be shown at the closing of the festival of Greek cinema in Moscow, said on Friday the press-service of the Union of cinematographers.

“The eighth of October at the closing ceremony of the festival will be shown the film “Chevalier”, a few days ago made by Greece for the award “Oscar”. Moscow audience the film will be introduced by starring yorgos Pyrpasopoulou”, — stated in the message.

The material States that the festival will be held from 4 to 8 October. In its frameworks will show Greek films of recent years, who were participants and winners of various international festivals, and will also be meetings with actors and Directors. Admission to all sessions is by invitation or by prior free registration.

Earlier, the Russian Oscar Committee has put forward for the award the film “Paradise” by Andrei Konchalovsky.
