More than half of Russians have never done shopping in online stores

Almost two thirds of Russians (63%) stated that they never used the services of Internet-shops. This follows from a survey by the Levada center, the results of which are available from the “Interfax”.

According to the study, one in ten of respondents (10%) plans to shop in online stores.

The service of booking tickets on plane or train via the Internet was used by one in five (20%) Russians, another 16% want to take this opportunity in the future. Refuse to buy tickets through the Internet, 60% of respondents.

Similar statistics were revealed regarding the acquisition of tickets to the theatre, concerts and other public events. I always use this service only 15% of Russians, another 16% expect to do so. Two thirds (65%) of respondents do not plan to buy event tickets through online services.

The most popular Internet service among Russians was booking hotels and travel packages. The survey showed that organized the trip with the help of the Internet, only 12% of Russians. Want to start planning my trips 17% of the respondents, 67% desire to try out the service is not expressed.

The survey was conducted from 9 to 12 September. It was attended by 1,600 people in 137 localities in 48 regions of Russia.
