Nizhny Novgorod graffiti artists face up to three years on charges of vandalism

NIZHNY NOVGOROD, 27 Sep RIA Novosti. The group of representatives of one of the largest in the Nizhny Novgorod youth gangs, involved in illegal graffiti, faces up to three years each on charges of vandalism; the court will consider the case on 28 September, said the Department of work from mass media of administration of the city.

Earlier it was reported that young people in masks late in the evening, threatening the driver of an empty tram painted the vehicle from aerosol cans. The damage from the patterning on the body of the tram was 215 thousand rubles.

“A criminal case was initiated on committing an act of vandalism. The maximum punishment under this article provides imprisonment for the term up to three years. On suspicion in Commission of this crime detained five people, one of them signed a settlement agreement after he compensated the material damage,” said in the message. The Nizhny Novgorod court will consider the case against the young people on September 28.

Its logo is the abbreviation TCN they are inflicted on the body of the tram. Two of the suspects during the investigation, admitted his involvement in previously committed acts of vandalism on public transport.
