Rostec has proposed the operator of cellular communication of MTS, “VimpelCom”, “MegaFon” and “Rostelecom” to create a system of data processing centers (DPC) for the implementation of “Spring package”. This was stated by the head of state Corporation Sergey Chemezov, transfers “Interfax”.
“The offer we made. We are ready to create a database to store the data with all operators. This does not mean that 100% will belong to the state. We are ready to work together with the “MegaFon”, MTS and “Beeline”, “Rostelecom”, — he said. Chemezov added that the data center can be a joint enterprise in which to invest all interested companies.
“And this company will provide service to all operators”, — said the head of “Rosteh”, adding that while there is no question of shares.
September 1, the Ministry has supported the establishment of a distributed system of data centers on the basis of “assistance” for the implementation of the “law of Spring”. The representative of the Department said that the appointment of the National center of Informatization (NCI), part of “rostec”, the sole operator of the storage system will allow to unify the technical solutions provide a centralized approach to the implementation of the law, and to engage with domestic electronics manufacturers”.
Anti-terrorism package of laws was adopted by the state Duma and the Federation Council, and on 7 July it was signed by President Vladimir Putin. Then he called to “minimize risks” from its application.
The amendments require operators and Internet companies to store text messages, the conversations of users, as well as “images, sounds, video and other communications” up to six months.
