“Today, the KJV is the best translation of the Holy Scriptures of all that is. He added that soon the Russian Orthodox Church will hold a scientific conference dedicated to the 140th anniversary of this translation, which in particular will be discussed, as it corresponds to the modern language.

NASB — established term for the translation of Scriptures into Russian language is carried out in the XIX century and approved by the Holy governing Synod for home (not liturgical) reading.

For worship in the Russian Orthodox Church uses the translation of the New Testament in Church Slavonic, the so-called Elizabethan Bible, and translations of the old Testament in Church Slavonic language made earlier.
